IP Relay
Sprint IP Relay is a technology that can revolutionize the way you use relay. Anyone who has an account with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) can access www.SprintIP.com. Sprint IP Relay has user-friendly features including:
- Type in the number to dial.
- Type in instructions.
- Select English, Spanish, or French.
- Click to connect to the Relay Operator. (See the screen below for more details.)
- Click to connect to Customer Service if you need any help or have any questions.
- Click each link to read more information or announcements.
- Split screen - Upper screen is for the Relay Operator and lower screen is for you as User.
- Call Status shows four types of connection (Disconnected, Connecting, Busy or Ready), the phone number that has been dialed (Number Dialed), and the length of your phone conversation (Talk Time).
- Call Controls provide 5 selections
- Disconnect call- terminating your phone call
- Save conversation - saving your phone conversation transcript to your computer hard drive
- Print conversation - printing your conversation transcript
- Options - adjusting the appearance of text typed by the Operator and you by (see the screen below for more details)
- Get help - providing information about the SprintIP screen.
- GA (Go Ahead) and SK (Stop Keying) macros.
- Click to let your caller know that conversation is on hold.
- Use the ASL Emoticons to direct the operator's tone of voice. The seven icons represent "I love you", happy tone, laughing sound, sad tone, angry tone, gasping sound, kissing sound.
- Font face - select the font of your choice such as Arial, Helvetica, Roman Times, Verdana, etc.
- Adjust font size and font style such as Bold or Italics.
- Adjust background and foreground (text) color.
- Sample text screens to show you what text would look like after selecting font options.
- Save the option you just changed.
- Cancel the option.
