What is 7-1-1?

A neat feature about Delaware Relay is 7-1-1. It is an easy-to-remember number to a relay services. It is available anywhere in Delaware and on any type of telephone including cell phones. There is no fee for using 7-1-1 services.

NOTES:

7-1-1 is NOT an emergency code and should not be confused with 9-1-1. HOWEVER, if you use a TTY and cannot obtain emergency services on 9-1-1, you may call 7-1-1 and tell the relay operator you have an emergency situation. The operator will then connect you to the Delaware State Police and facilitate your emergency with them.
